Anisha Shrestha

Anisha Shrestha is Nepal Digest’s cities and society editor. Her reporting follows the systems that shape everyday urban life: public transport, housing, local government, water, waste and the unequal experience of a rapidly growing capital.

Before joining Nepal Digest, she worked on community reporting projects across Bagmati and Gandaki. She is particularly interested in how better public policy becomes visible at street level and in the people who turn civic ideas into practical improvements.
