Our commitment
Accessibility
Nepal Digest is committed to making its journalism usable by as many readers as possible, across devices, abilities and connection speeds.

01
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across core reading, navigation, search, newsletter and magazine experiences. Accessibility is an ongoing editorial and product responsibility, not a one-time certification.
02
What we do
We use semantic page structure, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus states, readable contrast, responsive text and meaningful alternative text for editorial images. Motion is reduced when a reader has enabled reduced-motion preferences.
03
Known limitations
Some older content, third-party embeds or visual data presentations may not yet meet every standard. When we identify a barrier, we prioritise an accessible alternative and a durable fix.
04
Request help or report a barrier
Email accessibility@nepaldigest.com with the page address, the difficulty you encountered, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format you need. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days.
